I liked The Kings Speech, Nebraska, Away we Go, Sweet Land and Away from Her. Away from Her I kept saying to my husband, I can't believe that's Julie Christie. Even though it is a little sad it is a wonderful story.

I love old movies and always find TCM to be wonderful.

-Trading Places
-Mr. Holland's Opus
-The Incredible Journey
-Singin' in the Rain
-Beauty & The Beast

A movie that most people have never even heard of which is a WONDERFUL movie:

-Creator-GOTTA SEE THIS ONE (Peter O'Toole, Mariel Hemmingway, Vincent Spano, Virginia Madsen & David Odgen Stiers.)

"...please list your favorite movies made after 2000 of any genre that, as the title says, made you feel good and/or happy."
(and, the OP eliminated animated, which were the best written of all after-2000 feel-good movies, in my opinion)
since The Hangover is #1,
#2 is The Blind Side.

Looks like you've got a lot of popcorn to pop, then.

Good catch on "Billy Elliott", that IS a feel-good movie if there ever was one.

The Station Agent is wonderful!
