Somehow neglected my top US film from any year:
97--Jackie Brown
The 90s was clearly the best decade for films.

Too many good movies before the 70s, can't choose any favorites. Only a few after the 70s I could actually sit through, like Ninth Configuration, Southern Comfort, National Lampoon's Vacation. Here are my favorites from the 70s;

1970---Kelly's Heroes
1971---Vanishing Point
1972---Life & Times of Judge Roy Bean
1973---The Sting
1974---Thunderbolt and Lightfoot
1975---Race With The Devil
1976---Bad News Bears
1977---Slap Shot
1978---The Brinks Job
1979---Being There

A few others from the 70s would be the Trinity movies and The Omega Man.
