What would you say to an 18 year old you?

Tell him to go talk with the 10 year old and tell him to brush more often. Then have him tell the 12 year old to NOT jump out of that tree. Then to go and learn electrical trade. and save $100 a paycheck into a fund he can't touch for 35 years.

Get done with college in 4 years total, make it your absolute #1 priority.. Don't drink too much. (FWIW I'm not retirement age; I'm 37.)

Unfortunately I never seriously listened to anyone at 18. I had nothing, didn't think I would ever have anything, and spent much of my time worried about going to Vietnam.
