My 81 year old dad has a collection of music. He still has his vinyl from as far back as the late 50's. His iPod has over 10,000 songs on it.
When I was a kid it was reel to reel, then cassette, then CD's, my dad bought a record player that he could record strait to his computer then he downloaded everything to his device.
10,000 songs, wow. Now...what if he loses his iPod?
I love the flexibility in today’s world. When I’m in the car and hear a song that I loved in the past, often, I’ll jump on iTunes and download it.
I’m in Wyoming this week and the rental has Sirius radio. They played Loggins and Messina’s “Angry Eyes”. Such a great song that runs over 7 minutes. There’s nothing more fun than driving 90, at night, dodging pronghorns grooving to Angry Eyes. Don’t worry....I survived despite my tomfoolery. it was downloaded along with “Danny’s Song”.
Oh, man! I forgot about L&M. Just listened to it on You-Tube, a recent live version. Excellent. The tall thin one still looks really hot. Thanks!
