Gardening for the past 5 years since I moved to VT. Previously I would buy a couple of hanging baskets in the spring and plant a couple of tomato plants. Now I have learned about perennial flowering plants that grow up here in the north. This year my garden is almost full. There won't be much space for adding new plants next spring.
I did look into birding, even took an Osher class on it. But then I realized these groups go out at 6 or 7 in the morning. Sorry but I am still not a morning person, even after almost 9 years of retirement.
