What age is middle-aged?
There is not a topic called Aging, maybe there should be. So I apologize if this is not quite the place to ask, but I am wondering, when is someone considered middle-aged?

The closest you gave in the poll is 40 to 60, but technically, people are considered "young" until age 45. On the other end, most do not retire until age 62 or 65, so "middle age" would encompass the years from 45 to 65.
Of course everyone is different - I've seen 'em young in their 70's and pretty decrepit-looking at 48. So this is a generality!

We are all young at heart. Mentally I feel the same as I did 20 years ago, but my body doesn't reflect it Middle age used to be 40 to me. Now I would say its close to 60 ha ha

since most people don't live to 100, middle would be half of that or less so from the choices you gave 30 to 50 is the only one practical to pick

40-50
I consider "middle age" to only be a 10 year period between when your kids are leaving and when you start looking forward to retirement.

How can 60 be middle aged? Who lives to 120? Whatever the life expectancy is according to current actuarial tables, middle age would be half of that and to give it a range, I'd put 10 years on either side.
