Since your income from this is not steady I would wait and see how much you make next month. You hit the 'mother load' first time out but what about next month or during winter months when you are snowed in for weeks at a time?

You surely do not want to loose your SS benefits because you were lucky and sold a lot of stuff one month, it took you a year to make.

There's a lot of really good info in this thread.....BUT.....since each persons situation is different ,IMO, the best advice is......visit a CPA , or lawyer, that deals in taxes to get the legal side of your question settled ,based on your situation, settled once and for good.
