Thanks for sharing those beautiful pictures. Which Old Dutch Church are you referring to? My aunt is buried at the one in Hyde Park down the road from the Roosevelt estate. There are several in the area aren't there?

I believe these are taken at Phillipsburg Manor, it is a "living museum" or a farm and mill, similar to what they do at Colonial Williamsburg and such.

mathjak107 please feel free to correct me if I am wrong about the location, been a long time since I was there, but it sure looks like it!

I love the pictures. I've been there. We toured Washington Irving's home, too. Plus, some really mean swans chased us from the pond to the house which was pretty darn funny.

I wanted to tour Sing-Sing Prison but the others did not.

Ossining, where Sing-Sing got it's name, is "up the river" from NYC. That's where that term comes from. When convicts were sentenced to Sing-Sing they went "up the river."
