It's a place I'd love to visit and I enjoy skiing. But I will never again live in a place where you shovel, rake, and mow. Never. I can just imagine the mess at the end of the driveway after the plow goes by.
All I have to worry about here is a couple gallons of roundup per year and the dust that blows into the pool. Occasionally some palm fronds blow down.

That's why I moved to a place where you don't have to shovel the sunshine.
To each his own.

Very nice pictures mathjak107. Yes there is nothing like Autumn in the North East. I miss it and Winter too. I can always find something nice about where I am at, but you don't know what you have till it's gone. No thrill of the first frost, no joy of the skeeters finally gone, no watching for signs of Autumn, ( I like Winter clothing ) No Joy with watching the first snow of the season. And no Spring fever come the first warm days of the new year.

Great pictures! I look forward to our first snowfall, exciting! Right now I'm waiting for the leaves to turn, takes a little longer here by the lake.

I moved to an apartment from a house and my x country ski boots are GONE! LOST!
You know, living in an apartment isn't great fun but at least someone else does the plowing and shoveling. Oh, and that &*$%!!** raking! If I can get some more ski boots, I'll be looking forward to the snow.
