I'd like to see the government clean up the waste and fraud in the current systems that they fund and manage before they do anything else. Did you see the article in U.S.A. Today about the fraud in Medicaid? GAO report: Millions in fraud, drug abuse clogs Medicaid - USATODAY.com

I think most people agree that their is a need to change the way medical care is handled for the poor or uninsurable in this country......but there are many of us who, based on the government's track record, have great doubts about the competency of the government to develop and manage a new large scale health plan. Believe me that article is just the tip of the iceberg as far as fraud in government programs is concerned.

Obama says he wants to cut waste - let him start on the government run agencies we already have before he adds to the system.

Hmmmm maybe that is why it is called Health Care Reform? Maybe just maybe!
reform - Definition from the Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary
1 a : to put or change into an improved form or condition b : to amend or improve by change of form or removal of faults or abuses
