I often wonder how old threads get revived and what the reasoning is behind it as opposed to starting a new thread. I forget sometimes to look at the date it was started.
I knew a guy who was ex military. He was also a Union welder. He stayed in the woods during the summer and rented cheap or stayed in his truck in winter
.
The wheels on that truck cost more than my truck was worth.

Yes, I find these "van dwellers" daily in Public Library, YMCA, often at community events in evening (free food) and City 'dancing' fountain (bathing in summer).
A coworker (actually 3) did van living for a few yrs. One friend is doing it now, enroute to FIRE (26 yo grad with a $120k engineering gig) He has a shower and fitness room and nap room at work. I consider he is pursuing a GOOD thing! (Not my path, but a better path!)
Have you read the OPs old threads? In 2012 he was 26 years old and "retired". If true, that means when he started this thread he was 23 years old. And 6 months ago he was in the Arkansas forum asking about home insurance for his home...

So do you believe his stories???
LOL, reminds of this poster on the state forum where I live. They posted all this expert information about the town I ive in and they graduated from college and had this great job and travelled the state.
I researched their username and they had a post they lived 4 states away and they were in high school. I posted that information and poof they never posted again.
Dollars to box vans the OP will never come back to this thread. It seems the Call for Doom was as intangible as the poster.
Who. BTW, seems to have bought a house. Imagine that.
