first ..congrats! you are doing great.
YOU have to decide what is important to you. free time ..experiences..work...work at something you enjoy ...invest in yourself and your family...create separate businesses that can be run without you ...maybe some real estate if passive...travel the world and take videos to sell online...diversify YOU...

always have
disability income protection ( know you are young and bullet proof..I was too..found out the hard way that I wasnt)
I am a big big believer in the indexed annuities...they allow for tax deferred growth, allow you to participate in market gains, but limit your losses. google them
dont fall in love with any particular vehicle ...treat them as assets or a plant to harvest when the time comes.
buy into real wealth...gold, silver, acres of pine trees...real products.

you will do fine.
ps..interesting article in time magazine( I believe last months) about those target funds and the MIS allocations

Those equity linked annuties are awful as proxy's for stock investments,..

after fees, commissiones , expenses and the fact that you dont get any of the dividends your participation rate is puny . in a great year you may see a point or 2 above a cd rate.

its nothing you cant do on your own with a cd and some stock options and you can do it for a fraction of the cost
