took these at our pocono home over the weekend.
really crappy weather ,to bad we waited all year for the peak and it looked so ugly out with the sky the way it was.

anyway for all you warm climate natives heres a reminder of what a nice brisk ,if not wet fall is all about.

Wow! Those pics are so very beautiful!
Thanks for sharing the Fall beauty.
Living down here in the tropics with the Palm Trees can be lovely,
but the colorful, crisp pics of Fall make me long for high school and college days up north. Lovely!
Thanks for sharing!

The fall leaves are so beautiful. I can't stop looking at the water. I sure do miss that where I live now. Thanks for bringing back memories.

I love this time of year, too, although I always feel a twinge of sadness with the fall season. I don't know why; almost as though it portends the end of something.

Anyway, love the photos.

Default The foliage challenge has been made!

Well, okay, I just had to run right out and take a picture of what little "foliage" we do have and compare it with those spectacular photos above....

We live at the edge of Durham, NC, where it is 75 degrees currently...so of course we're not going to get the brilliant colors of the North. Still, it ain't half bad:

not a bad shot considering the almost white sky.. i hate those days... its so difficult to shoot in that kind of lighting.. usually ill shoot in high dynamic range by merging 3 exposures into 1 so i can capture the entire range .

if you can spot lighten that right lower corner where its very dark you got a pretty cool picture
