Yup you surfers out there now have justification for spending hours at the keyboard. Tell your friends and spouses to join in so they can stay young in mind and intellect.

I have little doubt that "pushing" your brain by doing things such as internet searches can help it stay more active and capable.

I also think that using your computer to find and read sites that expand your understanding and interest also help the brain stay sharp. It involves more than just the search functions, though I think that is a good start. If folks also expand their knowledge about whatever interest them, this helps too. Finally, engaging in discussions with others, especially if the discussion involves some critical thinking or explaining a thought/decision process, likely assist the brain in staying "young".

I'm glad to know that surfing the internet can keep your brain young. My brain must be a teenager by now.
