I went to our local art fair - very nice with lots of interesting stuff. So tempting but I bought nothing (got to move, ya know). Then went over to a street fair in St Paul - it's an annual event - always a good time.

Didn't do diddly squat in this house

Yesterday I attended a small reunion held at a local park for some old classmates from elementary school. It's been 44 years since I had last seen a lot of these folks and it was a blast! It is so hard to believe that so much time has gone by. I know a lot people are very scornful of social networking sites like Facebook but I have to say it allowed a lot of us to reconnect and set up this reunion. Otherwise, we would never have found each other. It was lots of fun and we plan to meet up again soon...at least sooner than 44 more years!

I have booked a holiday with my sister who recently decided to retire. She'll spend a month with us (Scotland) and we're (including my dh) going on an 11 day tour of Italy. I'm the only who's never been to Italy but none of the 3 of us have been to the Vatican. Very excited!!

Today July 1 is my one year anniversary of being retired. I have had so much fun, did things I never had the time to do while working, am relaxed, stress free and happy.

Drove to a ghost town at 13,000 feet along a Jeep trail in the mountains this morning. Grilling ribs now and this evening going bicycle riding.
