I am. Being able to postpone the tax hit and split it between 2011 and 2012 is attractive. I'm only considering my traditional IRAs, not the 401k/thrift which has a lot more money in it. Having just retired, I'm still going to be in the same tax bracket as before for 2010 but I should drop one starting in 2011. Adding in half the trad. IRA amount doesn't bump me up. Plus, I still have 4.5 years before I can use that money anyway. It may as well be a tax free kitty for whatever it earns.

Well, survived Halloween after being hit by at least 100 trick-or-treaters, woke up with pulse and respiration - always a good way to start the day - my bank is still above ground, I still have money in it and best of all, I don't have a job I haver to go to. In fact, I don't have a job at all.

Life's good here in the Aux Arcs! How's yours?
