I agree. And jeez, I didn't know we were so hated by the younger generation. Let's give them their own forum so we can steer clear of it and discuss things that matter.
That would free up this one for serious discussion instead of all this blather.
Yes, a new thread totally devoted to bashing Boomers. I am beginning to see the makings of a new reality show. "Bash The Boomer", with 24 hour cameras.........and color commentary by 16 year olds with acne & no world experience. OMG, I could be a movie star!. Maybe even become a Director or Producer. Sorry, I lost it there for a second........I'm a Boomer, dementia must be setting in.
I second this. The situation is getting just plain silly. I mean, if one goes onto a parenting forum and begins bashing parents, I am pretty sure they will be reprimmanded. So why is it ok for someone to go on a retirement forum where people are all pretty much of a certain age to bash them?

Nah, you're not losing it, mate. Some of these younger folk's that bash boomers didn't have enough sessions with the paddle so they don't know any respect for their elders.
Oh, I don't mind the younger Boomer Bashers at all. I figure most are just frustrated with their own station in life and looking to blame someone else for their own failures.
Don't mind debating (or ignoring) them at all.
