Sure. It's still too foreign for the average person. There is too much radical Islam there(I'm not a fan of religious zealots of any flavor). I don't want to live in a place where people are persecuted because of their gender and the laws are sometimes barbaric. Social habits and mores are very different from the US and lots of the rest of the world. Not bad, just different. I think most people from other societies would eventually feel very isolated there. I would like to be a part of the real world. I don't want to live in a gated community apart from real life.
Still I like Tunisia as a vacation spot. It's an interesting part of the world I've been to many times. Perhaps in a couple generations it will be a great place to retire.
