PROVIDENCE, R.I., Feb. 1 (UPI) -- Increasing co-payments for outpatient visits, at least for senior citizens, may make care far more expensive, U.S. researchers found.

Brown University researchers said that for many years, health experts said increasing insurance co-payments for routine doctor visits helped control costs.

Well I do believe that has people age they are much more likely to seek medcail treatemnt than younger people who don't think things will escalate into worse problems.Unless i saw a wide ranging study on this I would doubt the conclusion.There are people who don't want to know bascailly and rarely see a doctor alos but from waht I have seen has people age they are much more likely generally to see a doctor before things ghet worse. But tehy also are more likely to have things go worse too.
