Hi. Do the lights from the fields at roughly Lloyd and Arlington bother the surrounding neighbors during night games? What about announcements from the PA system or other noise? Thanks!

I would say yes. I can hear the Brown stadium during games and I'm a half mile away. Of course, this will intermittent and mostly in the summer and fall.

Thanks Holly. Just to make sure we're talking about the same fields -

Are you talking about the ones at Lloyd and Arlington (Brown Bears: Berylson Family Fields) where the lacrosse and soccer and softball games are held? These are the ones I'm trying to get a sense of.

Or do you specifically mean the Brown Stadium on Elmgrove where the football games take place (http://www.brownbears.com/facilities/brownfield/index)? (broken link)

Thanks again!

Oh you're right I was thinking of the Brown stadium- not sure of the other fields. For what it's worth, every time I've gone by there I haven't noticed it being noisy. But, you know, being next to some sort of nuisance is always a cause for concern, so maybe the conservative approach would be to look for a quieter street....
