I am looking to rent a loft on Dartmouth St. in Pawtucket and was wondering if the neighborhood is safe. I am from Albany, NY and never been to the Providence area. Walmart and Home Depot are about 5 min away, there is a Golds Gym around the corner, and Blackstone Blvd is very close. I have read from many people that Pawtucket is a horrible neighborhood and crime is relevant. I want to make sure i am not getting myself into a horrible situation. All information about the neighborhood and Pawtucket will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Yes, there are many areas in Pawtucket that are no good.. but Dartmouth Street is in a decent area. Its off of N. Main Street, and near East Ave. East Ave has a lot of fun places to eat and walk around.
