I am an RN and have worked in a PSY setting for 6 years. Butler Hospital in Providence is an excellent facility, and Bradley Hospital also has a good reputation and is close to Providence. Pay rates are from $18 - $40. Hr depending on your experience. Both facilities generally post openings for off shifts or per diem. Full time day shifts are rare and so I have chosen to work in a modest place called SSTAR in nearby Fall River, MA. I understand that Boston is filled with opportunity and pay rates are higher. good luck.
