We all pay a fee for the uninsured on our insurance. Will there be a new catagory for the undocumented driver?

Probably not since you can't get auto insurance without a license. This is actually one of the arguments for licensing the undocumented, since many are driving w/o license & insurance.

It is exactly THAT kind of reasoning that is why Rhody is in such deep doo doo. Bleeding heart liberals abound without a clue. Tough noogies that they are driving w/o license and insurance ! DEPORT THEM, get it?

The border is not closed because O'Bummer refuses to do anything about it. Rick Perry won't do anything about it either !

Please explain the definition of the word, ILLEGAL. That is all anyone needs to understand.

The word "undocumented" is horse hockey.

Hear we go again, many have children are US citizens, to depart them enmass is not American, and that's why we don't do it. After all they didn't get us into this mess, although yes they are illegal, but so aren't countless legal RI'ers in their everyday dealings, people who should be upheld to much higher standards, like politicians, priests, and teachers, and even the members of our business community. Oops, thankfully RI hasn't had any pedo-priests. More deserving blame than some poor guy washing dishes in Newport and sending his money home to pay for food. I'd rather have a heart than none at all like all the racists our country finally keeps in check and which is why the Tea Party and stuffed shirt Perry or Palin/octo-mom for Prez will never win anything, especially when it's up to us to keep them out without building a humongous wall at our border, or discriminate tourists from certain countries.

I'm suffering, I'm suffering....

I must take issue with the statement that "The border is not closed because O'Bummer refuses to do anything about it."

According to this article, the Obama administration has been focusing on criminal illegals- they don't have the resources for mass deportations.

As usual Quilter is way off base.

Obama has actually been one of the strictest Presidents when it comes to immigration border security - much stricter and more draconian that that last guy.

Since taking office, the Obama administration has overseen the deportation of more than 1.06 million illegal immigrants, according to Reuters.

That is compared to 1.57 million deportations that took place during former President George W. Bush’s term in office, meaning that President Obama is on track to deport as many immigrants in four years as Mr. Bush did in eight.
