Need FREE furniture removal (sale, apartment, live)

My mother lives in an apartment downstairs from us. She has recently been placed in a nursing home. I need to have her apartment empty by October 19th. My husband and I are both disabled and broke. Anyone have any suggestions?

Call Salvation Army, Goodwill, Big Sisters or another charity.

Wait a second here. These are your Mother's possessions right? You do have her permission to give them away or sell them?

If she agrees, first salvage any personal (pictures, papers, etc) or family items.

Then put up a free ad on Craigslist under garage sale and try to make some money off the rest to put towards her care. She's not home, so you don't have to move anything- just show it as is. You could then then donate the remainder of the items to the place(s) Quilter mentioned.
