Occupy Providence (lawyer, college, wages)

I'm very glad to see some protestors here. Think it's long overdue.
For those of you who don't know what it's all about, here's an idea.....

A few friends and I did a walk through today, and asked a few what they wanted out of this occupation.

One gentleman wanted his college paid for, because he couldn't find a good job. Another wanted the rich punished on Wall St., because they had too much of everything. One women wanted Government to stop waisting her money. Another women, I just could not understand what she wanted! Several teens looking for drugs, and some action. Many, just looking for work, with high wages. A to Z.

What is it really about...frustration with the current situation, and voters regret.
(Funny...these people don't like any politicians anymore.)

What should be added to the above list...punish Frank and Dodd, as equally as you punish Wall St.

The majority of them are simply "followers", druggies, rag tag groups of hippie type protestors, many of whom do not even have a clue of why they are out there like a swarm of nappy headed locusts.

Obama loves it .... they are playing to his agenda of class warfare while he is out on the campaign trail on the taxpayers' dime.

He arrived in Asheville NC the other day to a big crowd of approx. 230 people at the airport. Whenever you see him at an airport, the crowd behind his podium are hand picked, told to smile and nod their heads in approval on cue, and are given a trinket as a rememberance of their assistance. He then went to Marion, NC (a very tiny poor mountain town) at a bar-b-q place and for the most part, was ignored by the locals in there.

He never met a camera he didn't like. How pathetic is he.

OMG!! Obviously, neither of you bothered to read the link I provided. If you had, I would love to know exactly what demands you think are not worth making. Do you know who crashed the markets that affected the whole country?

These responses remind me of the Dylan lyrics: "Something is happening here and you don't what it is- do you Mr Jones?"

...any demand is worth making...If it fits into your personal situation. Let's make college tuition free, that's a nice thought. How about free health care for everyone, how's that feel.

Lets make a law that says Politicians and Wall St. executives must be honest from now on. Will that help?
I simply repeated what my sample survey results were. Granted, I only had an hour to walk through, but those were the results of my small servey.

"Bank of America bad for America"...this is an example of what I herd over and over, chants such as this.

Holly, the example you sighted, the official Demands, were no where to be heard, no paper hand-outs or flyers of any type, just dozens of people, some smelly and dirty, that were rather vague and lost.

As to the demands...don't hold your breath, both sides have too much to loose $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.
