I am completely frustrated. I work in smithfield and won't be able to move to southern ri so I'm stuck in the northern area. I can't seem to find any nice, safe, and nicely managed apartment complexes in this area. Can anyone please help? I'm looking for a 2 bedroom with a max rent of 1400. I'd rather have something lower then that. It has to be pet friendly since I have a kitten. I'm not living in the burrilville or pascoag area. Theres nothing there and I dont want to spend 30 mins trying to get to a damn grocery store. I'd like to have easy access to stores, restaurants, and things to do. PLEASE HELP.
I've heard bad things about North Providence and wasn't too impressed when I drove through it. Cumberland doesn't sound too bad. It doesn't have to be a complex. Do you know of any good sites or resources where I could find listings for private home/apartments? I've tried pretty much every site I know of.

NORTH Providence HILLSIDE TERRACE- studios, 1 beds, 2 beds & 3 bedrooms. HEAT, HOT WATER INCLUDED. Pool, fitness center, near Dowtown. Most Pets Welcome! 353-6980.
Rhode Island is a small state. We live in North Kingstown and my husband's business is in Woonsocket. It takes him 40 minutes to drive door to door. Why not expand your search to Warwick or Cranston--just off the highway, where your drive will be under 30 minutes. There are lots of lovely communites with pools and tennis courts, under your $1,400 budget (my Mon's condo is in one of them).
Have you heard of any nice condos in that area? I'm having a tough time finding specific complex's.
