Yep. This thread is about what to do if one wants to travel to Rhode Island, like myself.
From what I have heard, Rhode Island is a very nice state to visit, what with its numerous beaches, despite its small size, a few good minor-league teams playing there, and the site of (every now and then) the America's Cup race.
So, with that said, here's my list of recommendations. If you have anything to add, do so, but my list is only a short one.

SEE/DO:
The Roger Williams Park Zoo - RI's answer to the SD Zoo. Pretty wonderful.
The Pawtucket Red Sox - A wonderful team, home to a great ballpark, and some great Red Sox stars of the future. Their ballpark, McCoy Stadium is unique in that 1) the dugouts are level with the field, unlike other ballparks in the
majors or minors, and 2) this park played host to the longest professional baseball game in 1981.
Providence Bruins - Well, if you love the Boston Bruins, you'll get a great deal out of heading to the Dunkin Donuts Center to see the team's future stars play here.
The International Tennis Hall of Fame - Tennis fans, you're in heaven when you go to this hall of fame/museum located in Newport.
EAT:
Hot wieners - These remind me of chili dogs to a degree. But they're a chili sauce plus yellow mustard and chopped onions. Yum.
Coffee milk - It's coffee-flavored syrup, for those who think it's just coffee with milk. A very Rhode Islandey (for a lack of a better term) treat.

On that note, here's hoping my future trip to RI is a blast.
