There is a Waterfire Oct. 12 in Providence. Also check this out at Roger Wms Park
The Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular will run October 3 - November 3, rain or shine with admission from 6 pm to 10 pm;
Ah, had I known that, I definitely would have recommended that. It really is....spectacular, LOL! But, much better to go on a weeknight and early - the lines are horrendous on the weekends and get worse the closer you get to Halloween.
Atwells Ave really isn't Little Italy anymore. Hasn't been for years. Sure there are major aspects of that, but there is also Jamaican, Chinese, Mexican etc.
That seems to be true with most "Little Italys" these days, Boston's N. End included. As they become more of a tourist draw, there is a need to cater to more tastes. Kind of like Disneyland.

Hmmm, I think it's actually the opposite Those Little Italys pretend to be more Italian than they actually are, to keep the tourists coming. Diversity of tastes is the real thing and Little Italy is the fake Epcot world.
I wanna say thanks to all the ideas. I am looking them up and will be checking them out. If any of you even come down to Charleston, SC or Charlotte, NC then send me a DM and I can help you with some ideas this way!

That includes more than just Italian restaurants these days.
You did, right here in your post #14:
