Ah, had I known that, I definitely would have recommended that. It really is....spectacular, LOL! But, much better to go on a weeknight and early - the lines are horrendous on the weekends and get worse the closer you get to Halloween.

That seems to be true with most "Little Italys" these days, Boston's N. End included. As they become more of a tourist draw, there is a need to cater to more tastes. Kind of like Disneyland.

Hmmm, I think it's actually the opposite Those Little Italys pretend to be more Italian than they actually are, to keep the tourists coming. Diversity of tastes is the real thing and Little Italy is the fake Epcot world.

I wanna say thanks to all the ideas. I am looking them up and will be checking them out. If any of you even come down to Charleston, SC or Charlotte, NC then send me a DM and I can help you with some ideas this way!

I don't understand what you're referring to.

Where did I say Federal Hill doesn't have great restaurants?

That includes more than just Italian restaurants these days.

The RI HS gives a variety of very informative walking tours- would be good to take at least one.

You did, right here in your post #14:

"Hmmm, I think it's actually the opposite Those Little Italys pretend to be more Italian than they actually are, to keep the tourists coming. Diversity of tastes is the real thing and Little Italy is the fake Epcot world."

Chill.

I thought your post was very clear and helpful. And current -- not based on 10+ year old info.
