I'm looking to make a move and there seem to be a good mix of IT and Embedded Programming positions available in Providence & Newport. I'm making the trip up there in a few weeks to see what the area is like first hand, been to New England a number of times and we only live a few hours outside of R.I. but neither my wife or I have visited RI specifically.
From the research I've done looks like there's a decent amount of jobs and the pay is pretty good. I'm curious if anyone can speak to job quality, longevity and work environment?
Really hoping R.I. works out, seems like the perfect place for our small family to set down our roots.
