I take it you didn't vote for Chafee -- would that be a correct assumption?
He doesn't live here, remember? haha

Apart from "Pot for potholes," why is Chafee "an utter clown for even suggesting such a thing?" I always like to read the views of the out-of-staters.

Are their any politicians of whom you approve? I mean, Reagan is dead and Putin isn't American.

A lot of people just blame every problem on the gummint.
As if life would be perfect with no gummint.....

Government is important. It just seems that the current government, en masse, is ineffectual.

Why will it never fly when it's flying already in other states?

And no one is claiming it will go to treatement, no one at all.

What part of pot for potholes don't you understand? You are accusing Chafee of telling the truth about where the money will go - into the General Fund!

That's a pretty lame excuse for adding money to the general fund. Just because Chafee cannot turn a sinking ship around doesn't mean the state needs to sell itself to the potheads.

At least even the Mafia didn't get involved in drugs.

Colorado stash: $184M in marijuana taxes - Feb. 20, 2014

"Colorado expects to take in about $184 million in tax revenue from marijuana in the first 18 months after legislation -- and much of that money will be funneled into teaching kids to stay away from pot."

Chafee has not made such a suggestion, and Colorado's legislative committee has only recommended this investment, not codified it.
