Default Traveling to TF Green Airport during a.m. rush?

Hello, I will be taking a flight out of TF Green. I live in CT and it is just as easy for me to travel there from Rt.6/Johnston way as it is from I-95. My flight is leaving just before 10 am, so I am aiming to get to Warwick by 8:30 at the very latest.

Can anyone tell me what route would be best where I will avoid a.m. traffic? I used to live in RI years back and commuted to Warwick via I-95 and I don't recall there being much traffic in that area. The Rt. 6 way would probably be faster for me, but I am not sure about having to drive through Providence in the morning.

Stay on I-95, it is the fastest and most direct route. You won't hit enough traffic early in the am to slow you down. The traffic slows after exit 13 for the airport not really before it.

Thanks all! I live along Rt. 2 in CT, which is why it is easy for me to do the 95 route from the shoreline or to go down Rt. 6 into Providence. I just booked the flight, it leaves just before 10am, so I will probably be driving in the 7 am hour to the airport.

I have never flown out of PVD, when I lived in RI I would fly out of Logan for the most part. From their website it appears TF Green is similar to Bradley Airport in CT with on-site parking as well as private companies around the airport. Any tips on where I should park?

Thanks again for your help!
