Default child care costs and recommendations

My husband & I are moving to RI from NYC in June. I grew up in Seekonk and have lived away for the past 16 years. We are looking at the East Side, Lincoln, Oak Hill section of Pawtucket and Bristol. What is the average hourly rate for a "nanny"? I use that term instead of babysitter b/c we want someone who has lots of experience and can work 25 hours per week. Alternatively, how much is quality day care and are there places you can recommend? We have a 10-month old daughter.
