Portugese Music Festival
Lots of festivals in Newport to keep the tourists busy.
This was in Touro Park, Newport.

Just a few more days left of paradise before the tourists descend on South County's magnificent beaches
The endangered piping plover in mating plumage enjoying an evening stroll-

Great pics - thanks for sharing! I have to admit that I DO miss the beautiful coastline in RI. I think one of my single favorite spots in the US is Beavertail.

The Jamestown picture with the bridge is so contrast but so complimentary respecting development coensiding with this states natural beauty. Great picture! I wish the entire state projected itself like that relavant to it's natural envirement with its developments.

Hi
Just came across your thread with all the beautiful pictures of RI - I was born there and moved when I was ten yrs old and then we moved to Miami, Fl for 47 yrs. I still love RI a lot I only have an Aunt and Uncle, and a few cousins that still lived there in Woonsocket, RI. I now lived in Greenback, Tn. Thank you for posting the pictures, I really enjoyed looking at them brought back a lot of wonderful memories. Thanks, again.

Reason: I have to delete references to outside blogs but you can link to it via your home page. Beautiful photos, btw.
