But... your sisters worse than me! From West Warwick she could go out through Hope to Rte 116 to your house. Not much traffic...nice drive. She's got it bad. She may need a vaccine for her "distance disease" Mikey |

Wow, I didn't realize I got all these replies so quickly!!! Thanks guys! I just signed up for this recently, and didnt know how to navigate to the page with all the replies you all have provided.
Thanks for the insight. I am thinking about resale value, and the fact is, I dont want to corner myself in with a home that is in the "sticks" and not have a native RI'ers interest due to that constraint. So, I appreciate the feedback nonetheless.... I have been looking at a place on spring lake that seems very nice (yes its out in the sticks, but its right on the water) and its "association land" -which each homeowner in the association owns stock in the land and basically I would be financing the home (not including the land) which I have heard is hard to do if you dont finance the piece of land with the home.... The taxes for this property run less than $1,000 / year and there is a $450 association fee I guess.... here is a link to this place, what do you guys think? (oh yeah, dont want to spend more than $1,200 probably tops for a mortgage... but that seems a bit high, 800 would be better I think....) Dont want to purchase PMI, and want to put 20% down of course, but I dont know much about houses, so dont know if this is a good deal or not.... 87 Cove Road, Burrillville RI 02830 - Trulia |
