Guess I'm going to die. Either by being shot in the back or by walking/driving into something because I'm trying to watch.my backside.

Maybe I'll meet a cowboy who faces his victims.

Come on even our friend Bucket Boy gets it!

Cool story, bro.

This was initially reported as a double stabbing.

"NEWPORT, R.I. (WPRI) — One person was critically injured during an assault that occurred in Newport this past weekend, according to Newport Police Lt. April Amaral.
Amaral said the incident occurred early Sunday morning at a home on Thames Street.

^Both suspects in the Newport fatal stabbing have turned themselves in.

My main question now is, WHY WASN'T THIS DIRTBALL ALREADY IN JAIL???

Court, police records offer glimpse into Tyrese Poulsen, 18, wanted for Newport stabbing

"NEWPORT — According to court records, Tyrese Poulsen made bail on separate charges a few weeks before 22-year-old Maximus Julian of Little Compton was mortally stabbed at a Newport party.
On Wednesday, Newport police announced that Poulsen, 18, is wanted for murder in connection to the stabbing of Julian during a party at a short-term vacation rental on Thames Street early Sunday morning. Julian died Tuesday afternoon after his parents took him off life support.

The Daily News compiled information on prior charges weighed against Poulsen, all from the past year. There are two Newport addresses listed for Poulsen in court records.
According to court documents, Poulsen faced three felony charges in February from Newport police.
A charge of unlawfully carrying a firearm — a “ghost gun or an undetectable firearm or any firearm produced by a 3D printing process” — was dropped in April due to “insufficient evidence,” according to court documents.

Charges of fraudulent use of a credit card and access to a computer for fraudulent purposes are pending. Poulsen pleaded not guilty to those charges in Newport County Superior Court on May 4.
According to court documents, those charges stem from fraudulent purchases —including the purchase of gun parts — allegedly made by Poulsen in December 2020.
The alleged victim is a 62-year-old Newport man and the fraudulent charges total $1,506.47, according to court documents.
Days prior to Poulsen's arraignment in Superior Court on those charges, on April 28 he was arrested on a Middletown police warrant while at the Murray Judicial Complex. The warrant stemmed from an alleged incident at a party on Acacia Drive South in Middletown on April 11."

They are saying that Poulsen is the actual murderer in this case. I believe he is from the notorious Newport Heights projects in Newport's problematic North End. This is the approximate location:

As some have noted (while not so much this thread in particular), this forum has veered away from Rhode Island at times. Trying to keep it local and OT.

Apparently a woman stabbed a man on Manton Ave. yesterday, so far very little info.
