As was noted a few posts back, the Car Wash Murder suspect killed himself. And the suspect in the Lonsdale & Mineral Spring Murder just turned himself in.
"Pawtucket police on Wednesday said they made an arrest in a homicide that happened on Halloween night.
Police said 21-year-old Jairo Esdel Galva, of Central Falls, turned himself in. The arrest was in connection to the murder of 22-year-old Joel Rosario.
The shooting happened on Lonsdale Avenue just before 11 p.m. Saturday.
Authorities said Galva was arraigned in Providence District Court and was held without bail.
The 21-year-old was charged with the following:
Murder in the 1st degree
Discharge of a firearm while committing a crime of violence
Unless I'm missing something, it appears pretty consistent with other newer locations. That one being on a corner lot, probably influenced the layout somewhat.
It does seem to have quieted down significantly over the past week. But while we are on that topic, I just wanted to follow up on this post I made earlier.

What's also pretty obvious now to most, is that the city has seen a huge uptick in violence (expected) over the summer as well as an increase in homicides over last year (to date). Anyhow, another thing caught my eye just now. August had so far been the bloodiest month of 2020, logging 68 of these serious violent incidents. September followed with 65 incidents. Last month, October was #3 with 62 incidents. But just one thing...nothing from Friday or Saturday has been logged yet. Those are the "busiest" two days of the week. Once the final numbers are in, I can EASILY see October matching or exceeding August as the bloodiest month so far in 2020. The "summer surge" does not yet appear to be waning, and anybody should find this data alarming.
So after the final numbers were in, October had a total of 68 serious violent incidents to tie it with August as the bloodiest two months of the year so far. Here is the final accumulative for the month, once again October incidents are in gray.
So I the obvious question would be, has it finally turned a corner? Is the relative calm of the last week a sign that "winter" is finally here and that the "beef" will go on hiatus? Or is this just a temporary low to pick back up again. This weekend should be telling, hopefully it will go by without any major bloodshed.
"CENTRAL FALLS, R.I. (WPRI) — An investigation is underway after a man was shot Tuesday afternoon in Central Falls. Police confirm the shooting took place on Garfield Street around 1 p.m."
The shooting was at 11:00 AM on Friday. The article states that it happened at the intersection of Douglas Avenue and Messina Street, but Google's Street View doesn't match the picture shown in the article.
