^^^ Why does it matter what state or area a poster is from ?

How is it that a nice human interest story about an elderly man having his precious dog stolen, and then found SAFE is competing with the piles of rubbish shoveled out on the RI forum.

Someone's dog must have p'd on your tree today.

Who could fault a sweet Found Dog Story?? However, it's more than curious when an out-of-state poster takes it upon him/herself to become the Rhode Island Crime Reporter on this forum. To what purpose?
