I am visiting Providence at the end of April and will be apartment hunting if I like it there. I am a 22 year old and will be moving there after I graduate to live/work. I need to find an apartment that is below $800 a month and I would love to be close to downtown/shopping/restaurants, etc. I want to live somewhere safe as well! Any suggestions???

Mega: try the apartment websites onlilne. i.e., www.apartmentfinder.com, www.rent.com
$800 per month will be difficult in RI for something decent. More like $1000 to $1600 in the complexes. You may find a multi-family property in that range, but then add your utilities (heat ! ) and you'll be way over the top. Better with a complex that pays heat. Check Warwick, Cranston, Pawtucket, maybe Johnston and East Providence. |
