Can anyone give me some information about Pawtucket, is it a vibrant place to live.

Pawtucket in general is the pits. Low income, high population density, check the crime stats. The Darlington area of Pawtucket, zip code of 02861, is fairly attractive in places.

I live in Pawtucket and it's been on a down hill slide for a while now. I agree with the other posters about this town. The public school systems are terrible, so if you have kids you might to go private like we do. I'm actually in the process of trying to get out of Pawtucket.

Default other postings are different than what i am reading
I have been reading that it is an up and coming place again-- residences are being built downtown and it is becoming sorta an artsy community??

I would think countryside is still OK??
