Antonio's on West Shore Rd is good. DePetrillo's on Warwick Ave (if it's still there) has good calzones and deli pizza. And the best zeppole are at the Food Chalet on Post Rd.

Im looking for a bakery that has cannoli's & Italian pastries
thanks again Provguy, you are always helping me. I forget that the bakery's here in RI are pizza places too, where I lived in NY it wasn't like that, I have to get used to a couple different things in RI, like I have to get beer at the liquor store and that they close at 10pm, I learned that lesson quick, he,he,he. Oh, and yes DePetrillo's is still there, they do have excellent calazone's, the spinach, olive & cheese one is sooo good. And I'll have to try the Food Chalet also!

OK Sue, you have chosen not to live on Federal Hill. Granted, It is not for everybody, especially those with children. But, since you moved you keep asking for food in Warwick that is as good as Federal Hill. What gives. The beauty of Federal Hill is that there are very few places outside of the hill as good as "The Hill". This is an area compared to the Italian North End in Boston or the Italian hoods of NYC or Philly Don't you ever drive back there to do shopping or have you become a true Rhode Ilsander and it is too far to drive? I mean I drive 25 miles to the East Side to get good bagels, lox, corn beef, etc.
Mark, btw glad you chose little Rhody to live in!

First time I asked a question reguarding where expensive restuarants where was so that I could find a job (some other people on the thread changed it to talking about cheap & good restuarants, which was fine, whatever), the next time it was a question for good pizza for me to eat, and this time its a question for italian pastries. And I do understand that Federal Hill is not that far away, but I waitress & work so many crazy all day hours, I don't have the luxury of weekend time that most people have and when I only got a couple minutes to get a cannoli, well I'm Italian....Im sure you can understand that. I will still go to Federal Hill again, but I just wanted to know if there was some place thats right down the road for me, some place I can stop on the way home or run to between lunch & dinner shifts...thats all..
