Condo at the Westin so I can enjoy all the hotel services, summer house on the water in Narragansett or Newport, condo or co-op in Manhattan and a house in Key West for the winter.

No way. I wanna move out of here now forget if I had millons of dollars. If I did win I would buy
-A house on the beach in Florida or Cali. ( why would you want to live on one of RIs dirty beaches,You would have to worry all the time if the water would be safe to swim in)
- A house up in the mountains
- A penthouse in NY for the Yankee games

Big assed farm in Vermont and a water front house on the Treasure Coast in Florida.
Actually I would probably stay here as a residence as my kids go to an excellent school.

Yes, I'd keep a moderate sized ocean front home here in Narrangansett or Charlestown, but I'd live year round down south - Georgia or Florida, and I'd only visit here in the summer.

I would NEVER be a full time resident in RI again. They wouldn't any more income taxes out of me. I'd come back for the summers maybe.
This state is so corrupt. The western half should go to CT and the eastern half to MA. (not that they are much better.)

Would stay here in southeastern RI- probably Little Compton for summers. Would also have a place in western Maine for winters, nearby Sunday River. LC is one on the few places in RI where property tax is reasonable, others are Block Island and Jamestown. REst of the state is a property-tax nightmare with very little services to show for it.

If your serious, and you have the financial/and flexibilty. Then you need to ask yourself what keeps you here in Rhode Island. If you own property..your over taxed.. if it's the weather..you must love the unpredictable..The coast?..go south..the only reason I can think of is because your family is here...and unless it's a child, I say move on..like so many that are fleeing the state.
