Barrington to open a photo studio? (Bristol, Warren: weddings, schools, income)

I am researching quaint, affluent areas to eventually open my own photo studio to cover portraits/weddings/sports/you name it.

Barrington and Bristol are on my top list in RI. I'm leaning more towards Barrington because there is less competition than in Bristol. (from what I've researched)

I would like advice and/or input from the locals or anyone who knows the area and if they think it would be a good location for this type of work.

I think it would be a good location. Since the schools are good, Barrington is a big suburban family town so it would be big on babies, weddings, sports. The only shopping district there is the Prince's Hill Plaza area which is Barrington's downtown so that's where you'd be- well, Maple Avenue too. Don't know about storefront rents versus potential income- so obviously that's the rub- but certainly worth looking into.

There's a pretty well established photo studio in the next town over in Warren, on Water Street. Be prepared for some competition if you open shop in Barrington, the drive isn't particularly long.
