Default Moving to West Warwick (Natick)
Hi, I'm moving to West Warwick (Next to the Warwick and Cranston Line, North East in West Warwick). Is anyone familiar with this area? I have never been to Rhode Island and my major concern is the safety of a neighborhood. Is this a good neighborhood?

You probably need to provide more specifics of the area you're looking at.

One thing I can tell you about is.... The area around New London Ave coming from Cranston into West Warwick has an awful stench from a sewage treatment plant.

It's a nice enough area, but I always wondered how people could sell homes in that area.

They probably list them in the winter when it's cold and the smell isn't as bad.

Yeah, we will be pretty close to the treatment plant. I hope that won't be a problem.

Well it's a working class neighborhood, plain and simple. Nothing glamorous but not high crime really either. A positive is you're right near a very nice, long bike path!
