My family and I are looking to relocate to the Providence or Woonsocket areas. I have been sending resumes for some time but think I am being over looked because of my address. I am not local and but due to economy and employers not paying for relocation at this time they immediately rule out resumes that aren't local. We are willing to pay the relocation expense ourselves.

It's tough right now -- and recruiters aren't much help, I've found. They're flooded with resumes, as are employers directly -- so why should they pay a recruiter fee to get someone they can get just by posting a job?
