Default Barrington
Hi,
I feel Barrington is a better community for new stay at home moms! I know many people with babies there, and know another bunch with infants who plan to buy houses there. East Greenwich seems to cater to a little more wealthy but older crowd. Both have great schools. Barrington has a beautiful bike path that you may like.

Harborside in East Greenwich is a great after hours spot.

Both are great. But as a SAHM, I would rather live in EG. It simply has more to offer. Barrington does not have a good proximity to the rest of the state. EG does.
