Possibly transfering to Newport.... info please... (Middletown, Portsmouth: rentals, home, utilities)

Hi,

We are possibly going to be transfering to Newport in the summer of 2010. I would love info on places to live... we want a single family home with rent under $1900 a month. We have a dog and need to be able to bring her with us.

We have no kids as of yet but plan on it. We want to live someone nice, safe and close to things to do.

We have only be to Newport once about 5 years ago and really on did tourist things. So any info about living in the area would be great.

I would also love the towns which would be good to live in.

You'll probably have better luck finding a property in Middletown or Portsmouth which will allow dogs.

The only area I'd avoid would be the Northside of Newport .. west of the West Main Road.. between Miantonomi and Two Mile Corner (the Newport/Middletown line).

Does that $1900 a month include utilities?

Try militarybyowner.com to get an idea of rentals. I don't think you'll have any problem finding something big enough for 2. You'll love living in Newport!
