I'm the one who made all those videos.

They are also available on my website.

With the exception of one; the universal newsreel footage which I did not make.

Channel 6 out of Providence ran a small feature on Narragansett Park in mid July. I was invited to the studio and was interviewed for the story.

You can find more information on the abc6 website.

Have you tried the Rhode Island Historical Society at 121 Hope St in Providence? Also the Providence Public Library downtown has a card file of indexing to the Providence Journal for that period. I'm sure the Journal would have taken many photos.

I haven't tried there yet. Thank you for the suggestion. At some point I will also being going to the Pawtucket Public Library. The woman I spoke to says they have many articles and possibly some video footage.
