Thank goodness assaults and robberies never occur in other cities. You have to wonder why they even have jails though considering they sit empty all the time. Honestly guy, you need to grow up and quite your constant whining. You some off like an emo 17 year old who's mad at the world. Your constant and unrealistic kvetching does nothing for your credibility though I doubt you really care about that.

Shockoe Bottom used to be a fun, safe place to hang out in back in the late 90s and early 2000s. Then it went downhill. Yea, stuff like this happens everywhere in America, but it's just as easily a deterrent to not go back to said area too. Hopefully those thugs are caught.

Agreed dbull. That's a far more productive way to talk about it. While most of Shockoe Bottom is improving with Tobacco Row, new condos, and new offices just to the east, those couple blocks between 17th and 18th, Cary and Grace have gone downhill since so many "clubs" have gone up. Classy joints still exist there like Julep's, Cafe Gutenberg, The Halligan, Lu Lu's, Havanna 59, and Rosie Connolly's and they can use all the support they can get. I don't like the idea of bailing on these good businesses and letting the Bottom fall into ruin. I hope people are just smart about when they are walking around down there and to always have people with you if you are out late.

stupid animals giggling while they beat them down this crap doesn't even happen in newark. Where is Al Sharpton. I also love how they call the white guys *****hz. They call it "polar bear hunting"

Concealed carry sure could have prevented this.
Buy a handgun. Don't trust your safety to the police or the criminals on the streets that you walk. If the victim were armed, instead of a vicious assault, this video would have depicted the disposal of several pieces of human refuse.

ha, crime stoppers. Told you.

Anyway according to sources those men were apparently from Charlottesville so I'm not even sure if RPD even knows that or not.
