Sort of... certain groups of people went around causing havoc, burning stuff, etc, but it wasn't the type of riots that went down after we won. But for the record most of the student body was partying not destroying stuff.

And also in my opinion from first hand experience of having been there, had the riot, state, city, and vcu police not ALL been there shooting tear gas and mace, the situation would not have escalated AT ALL.

I actually liked the article, I agree with the authors assessment of the situation entirely and didn't find it to be biased against the police but rather observational and factual.

What? I don't know what kind of site that was. I just literally typed in 'riot vcu' or something like that & clicked on one of the first sites that popped up. Idk what kinda site it was.
