Glen Allen / The Gables
Hi,
we are thinking of moving to Glen Allen and a friend recommended "The Gables". He used to live there a few years 5 years ago.
If anybody has any information about that place, good or bad please share it!
Also we are interested in nice apartments places in Glen Allen, Henrico.

I lived in "The Gables" sometime in early 2006 and it was a great place back then. However, the management has changed since then and looks like some of the residents are not happy with the place anymore:

I don't know if the negative reviews are genuine or the work of a few pissed off, irresponsible tenants trying to exact revenge. It IS located in a nice area close to Short Pump so unless the management is really doing a bad job I would think it is still a nice place to live!
Another great place to live is "The Estates of Horsepen" and it is located much closer to Downtown at the intersection of Broad and Horsepen.
